ChMeetings Q2 2021 Updates
April, May, and June 2021 Updates
It’s mid-2021, and as the world is coming out of lockdown, we may get to enjoy a bit of freedom again. Everyone could probably use a chance to take a deep breath, relieve some of the tension and express gratitude for the many wonderful things we still have.

Major Upgrades
1. Our help center is live
We have a brand new Help Center, where you can learn to work with ChMeetings. It’s available at help.www.chmeetings.com.
It includes a section dedicated to your members too. You can find it in Member Access > Help Your Members.
We still have work to do, so we welcome your feedback, questions and suggestions. Please, do not hesitate to get in touch and let us know.
2. A branded mobile app is now available
You can now have your own, branded mobile app, powered by ChMeetings. This option comes with your own app store listing and white label app, personalized with your domain and branding elements, Please see our Branded Mobile App page for more information.
New Features
1. Events got upgraded
You can now edit the image and description associated with recurring event occurrences. It’s also now possible to collect data while registering or checking people in for events. Simply create a form, then attach it to the event you want to use it with. At the event, attendants can only be registered or checked in after having provided the required information. You can learn how to use these features by reading our user guide on How to add, edit or delete an event.
2. Custom registration, using profile fields
If you have a paid subscription, you can now enable profile fields in the signup form. This makes it easier for you to collect and manage data, because when someone registers for a member account, they immediately provide the data you need. Their information is automatically added to their profile. You can do this from the Member Access Module, by enabling registrations using profile fields as the registration form. Read more about how to manage member access, and customize the registration form.
3. Find my church
When members want to register to your church, they can now easily find it right from within the login screen on app.www.chmeetings.com. They can type in any part of the church name and they will see a list of matching churches within your country. See how it works.
4. Smarter follow ups
When you call someone from the mobile app, then come back again to our app after ending the call, you will have the possibility to add a follow up for that person. You can also add family members to a follow up with one click.
Improvements
1. Nine supported languages
We have continuously worked on translating our platform to new languages. On behalf of our community, we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has contributed. ChMeetings is now available in: Arabic, Chinese Danish, English, French, German, Romanian, Russian and Spanish.
2. Contributions improvements
The Contributions module now comes with more filters and export options. You can now also generate statements, as well as mailing labels. Please check the dedicated Contributions section of our Help Center to learn more.
3. Forms improvements
The Forms module has been enhanced as well. You can now add profile fields to any form and the provided information will be automatically saved to the submitter’s profile. Another new feature is the ability to request people to attach files to the form.Additionally, we added an Advanced Search feature to form submissions, that allows you to filter for specific answers. Find out more about Forms.
4. New report: access log
You can now easily see who accessed the platform and what access related action they have taken, along with other relevant information about their sessions. The report is available under your General Reports and is called “Access Log Report”. Please read our Reports user guide to find out more about how it works.
5. Other improvements
We have also worked on general bug fixes, and improved the general user experience. For example, we have made the Events module easier to use, made it possible to disable the Gender field or to resize images within the text editor.
There are lots of other minor tweaks that you will find listed within our Release Notes, which are also more detailed now.
Thank you for your continued support
These features would not have been possible to create without you, our community. We are grateful to have the opportunity to serve over 2000 churches around the world, and we will continue doing our very best to meet your needs.
