ChMeetings Updates For September 2024

We’re delighted to get back to you with rather brief, but exciting updates for September. We’ve been working very hard to bring you one of the features we announced even at the beginning of this year. Yes, the Email Designer is finally live and ready for you to craft beautiful emails for your community. Without further ado, here is what you can do with ChMeetings after the updates we released this month:

Send AI-Powered, Visually-Appealing Emails

The Email Designer allows you to create beautiful emails using advanced formatting such as different body layouts, buttons, social links, etc. You can start your emails from a blank canvas, use one of the prebuilt templates, or create your own. You get a rich library of stock images and can use AI to generate completely new ones. AI is also available in the text editor, to help you write better messaging. This feature is available starting with the Small plan.

Provide Your Community With Better Access To Media

We made a couple of improvements to the Media Library, which we released in August for users of our Branded App. Here they are:

  • Upload Media Directly To The Media Library: Now you can upload media files of up to 1GB directly within ChMeetings. You no longer need to upload them somewhere else online and then link them to ChMeetings.

  • Media Search for Members and Guests: People visiting your church ChMeetings page can now search your media library using a dedicated tool at the top of the page.

Other Features

Here is what else you can do with ChMeetings starting this September:

  • Know Why Volunteers Are Blocking Out Dates: When blocking out volunteering dates, people can now also add a reason.

  • Set A Minimum Age For Creating ChMeetings Accounts: If someone adds family members, then ChMeetings automatically creates accounts for them. However, sometimes, you may not want this for people under a certain age. In your Member Portal Settings, you can now set the minimum age for people to have an account within ChMeetings.

  • Share The ChMeetings App: You can now share the ChMeetings app from the mobile app menu.
