ChMeetings Updates For August 2024
In August, the ChMeetings Team worked on releasing essential features that will help your church streamline financial management, grow community engagement, and communicate more efficiently. Here is what’s new:
Sync With Your Bank
If your church is based in the United States you can now sync your bank accounts from 5,000 financial institutions to your ChMeetings Accounting module. This lets you import your transactions automatically, thus making the process faster and more accurate.
Create A Media Library
Also known as a Sermons Library, this feature lets you add audio and video files and create media series that you can display on your church pages. There is also a new, dedicated builder card that you can use to show audio/video files and series. The Media Library is exclusively available for churches using our Branded App.
Send SMS Using Clickatell
If you’ve been using Clickatell to send SMS, you can now easily integrate it with ChMeetings for your church communications.
Choose When To Initiate Automated Tasks
There is now an option to set the day when a communication task should be initiated. The option is “Days To Send” (or “Days To Add” for the task that adds Follow-Ups for new givers), which applies to emails, SMS, and push notifications, and can be found on all tasks. This feature lets you configure multiple tasks that send periodic communications to different segments of your congregation. For example, you can set up tasks to communicate with newcomers immediately, create a follow-up based on certain criteria after 3 days, send other updates after 5 days, etc;. At the moment this requires separate tasks to achieve.
Coming Soon: Email Designer
One of the core features we’ll be working on next is the email designer; which will allow you to easily create visually appealing layouts and design your emails with different elements that let you highlight the most valuable content you’re offering.
