ChMeetings Updates for November 2025
This month brings several improvements that strengthen giving management; streamline accounting; and expand administrative control. We released quite a few granular updates to make all this possible, so we’ll be taking a more focused look at the most impactful features and how they help your team work more efficiently.
Streamlined Contributions Management
Pledges Filter in People Search
You can now filter your People database based on who has or has not pledged within a chosen time period; making it easier to track engagement and follow up.
Default Recurrence Settings for Online Giving
Administrators can set the default giving option to one time or recurring; and if recurring; define the standard schedule. This simplifies the donation flow for your congregation.
Direct Link or Embed Code for Online Giving Funds
Each Fund now includes a Share option that provides either a direct link or embeddable code; giving you simple ways to place fund-specific giving options on your website or social accounts.
Improved Giving Imports
When importing from external providers, you can now assign imported contributions to a chosen batch; and you can also import using templates from Overflow, Planning Center, and Givelify when applicable. This allows cleaner organization of imported records.
More Transparent and Flexible Accounting
1099 Summary Report
A dedicated report now shows total amounts paid to each 1099-eligible payee for any selected tax year; and it can be exported for use with external tax filing services.
Clickable Drill-Down in Reports
All accounting report figures are now clickable; allowing you to open and review the transactions behind each amount.
Add Transfer Transactions During Import
While importing transactions, you can edit entries and mark them as Transfers; if you need to. This was not previously possible.
Autofill Based on Last Payee Transaction
When adding a new transaction, you can autofill most fields using the payee’s previous entry; saving time when dealing with repetitive payments, especially those with multiple items..
Export All Transaction Attachments
Audits and backup are now simpler because you can now export all files attached to transactions directly from the Accounts or Transactions section of the Accounting feature.
Additional Improvements for Daily Administration
Multiple Communication Tasks for Newcomers
You can now add several communication tasks at once for newcomers or new attendees; making multi-channel follow-up quicker to set up.
Manage Your Cities Database
You can add or edit city options within Settings > Profile Fields. You can keep the field unlocked to allow members to add their own cities; or lock the dropdown to exclusively update the list from the admin side..
…
These updates are designed to reduce friction in your financial workflows; improve clarity in reporting; and give you more control over your data and communication processes. They help ensure that administrative tasks stay organized and efficient; freeing your team to focus more fully on ministry and other important year-end tasks.
