ChMeetings Updates For April 2025
April 2025 brings a powerful wave of enhancements to ChMeetings, aimed at giving churches greater flexibility, improved communication tools, and deeper financial insights. This month’s updates span across the Member Portal, Events, and Accounting modules—each update built to help you better engage your community and manage your church with ease.
MEMBER PORTAL
- New Container Card
You can now use Container Cards in the Member Portal to group multiple builder cards together. This card is perfect for organizing content like events, posts, forms, or links in a clean, user-friendly format, using 2 or 3 cards per row or horizontal scrolling rows.
- Card Background and Text Color Customization
Customize the look and feel of your portal with new color settings. You can now set background and text colors for the following cards: Link, Form, Blog Article, Event, Social Media Link, and Page cards.
This gives you more control to match your church’s branding, improve readability, and make content more pleasant and accessible for visitors.
- Enhanced Audio Card Support
The Audio Card now supports even more platforms to allow you to create playlists or audio blocks more seamlessly than ever.

- SoundCloud
- Audio.com
- Google Drive audio links
- Direct .mp3/.wav URLs
EVENTS
- Automatic Contributions Creation from Event Payments:
Just allocate event payments to a Fund while configuring registration, and ChMeetings will create Contribution records automatically. After that, it’s easy to add them to your Accounting by depositing.
- Enhanced Volunteer Emailing
Managing event volunteers just got easier with new updates that give your team more communication flexibility and reduce repetitive work.
When sending volunteer emails, you can now:
- Include non-volunteers in the recipient list
- Add CC and BCC recipients
- Save email templates for future use
- Choose which email is used as the sender – either the main admin email, or that of the user sending the email.
- Delayed Publication for Recurring Events
Need to set recurring events but only want them to be shown to members closer to the date? Now you can set a future publication date for each recurring event. This lets you plan ahead without overwhelming your calendar.
ACCOUNTING
New Transactions Page
This April we introduced a powerful new Transactions view under Accounting, which provides clear, comprehensive insight into your church’s financial health.
This centralized dashboard lets you:
- View all transactions across all accounts
- Use advanced search filters to drill down into the data and save searches for later use
- Export detailed or simplified transaction lists
OTHER UPDATES
- Media Library Permissions for Branded App Users: You can now grant users access to the Media Library without giving them permission to view data or other modules, making it easier to delegate content management securely.
- View PDF Attachments in People Profiles: You no longer need to download files to view them. PDF attachments in people profiles can now be opened and viewed directly within ChMeetings. As a reminder, you can do the same with image files, too.
- Copy or Move Forms Between Ministries: Need to reuse or reorganize forms? You can now copy or move forms to another ministry with just a few clicks. Use the options menu on each form to select the target ministry and relocate the form seamlessly.
