Can we transfer existing people?
Yes, ChMeetings allows you to transfer existing people. You can import people’s information into ChMeetings from other systems. This feature is available on all plans, including the free version. Additionally, ChMeetings offers free data migration services for paid plans.
How do you count the people included in a plan?
In ChMeetings, only active people count towards your plan’s limit. Active people are those visible within your People module. Archived or deleted people do not count towards your plan. You can manage and monitor your active people to ensure you stay within your plan’s capacity.
Can we access people from a mobile app?
Yes, ChMeetings provides a free mobile app for both Android and iOS devices. The app allows you to access and manage your congregation’s information on the go. Almost all features available on the web version are also accessible through the mobile app, ensuring seamless management of your church’s data.
Can members engage with our church online?
We think that’s a must these days, so, yes, your members can engage with your church online using a computer or mobile device. You can grant members access to the ChMeetings Member Portal so they can have their own accounts, interact with your content, and access features like event registration, volunteering, checkin, giving, forms, and much more.
Can members update their own profiles?
Yes, if the Member Portal is enabled, members can access their profiles and update their personal information. This includes editing contact details, adding family members, and managing communication preferences. Empowering members to maintain their own profiles ensures that your church’s database remains accurate and up-to-date.
Can we print a member directory?
Yes, you can generate and print a member directory in ChMeetings. In your People module there is an Export option, from which you can choose to print your member directory or export people in a variety of other formats.
Is there an online member directory available?
ChMeetings offers a Member Portal feature that allows members to access their profiles and engage with your church online. On this app, you can enable an online member directory where people can find each other while protecting their private information. Members can choose what information to make available; or they can opt out of being shown in the directory.
How can we protect people’s data?
ChMeetings allows you to assign different roles to users, such as Owner, Admin, Group Leader, and Member. Each role comes with specific permissions that can be customized granularly, to fit your church’s needs. Moreover, you can mandate two-factor authentication for anyone with an administrative role.
